In this tutorial we will integrate the weapon meshes from Advance Weapon Pack from RedHawk.
While any skeletal mesh can be used as the weapon mesh, from time to time I create pre-configured child classes that function as drag & drop bridges between a weapon asset pack and FPS Game Starter Kit, if you wish to learn how to use any skeletal mesh, see the how to make new weapons tutorial. With that said, let’s begin.
1.Create a new FPS Game Starter Kit project
2.Add the Advance Weapon Pack to it
3.Download and extract the pre-configured weapon child classes into your project
