In this tutorial we will go over how to use the Minimap.
By default it tracks only the Objectives system (waypoint location), however you can make it display other actors as well, and it’s relatively easy to do so.
- Create a new Blueprint Actor or use any of the existing ones, doesn’t really matter
2. Pick any way you want this actor to show up on the minimap
3. You can use all sort of combinations, you can find the 2 nodes here
NOTE: if you want to disable it and use a different minimap, radar or compass, you can just set the game mode to use the default UE4 HUD class instead of the included one.
